City Park, Glasgow has had a fantastic Property Awards season in 2006, recently picking up 4 highly sought after industry awards.  Recognising the major regeneration work that has been achieved at City Park, the British Council for Offices awarded the Scottish Refurbished/Recycled Workplace award; the British Urban Regeneration Association chose City Park for its UK Best Practice in Regeneration award; and Scottish Property Executive selected it for the Regeneration Award for Excellence.   Earlier this year, City Park also received the Commercial Development of the Year award at the Scottish Property Week Awards.

Hosting the various judges visits at City Park and celebrating the achievements Ken Campbell, Director of City Park and Elphinstone the developer said, I am delighted that City Park has been recognised by the property industry.  Our vision for City Park was to breathe new life into a Glasgow iconic building and also make an enduring positive economic and environmental impact on the surrounding community.  It is a great achievement that City Park will create 3,000 new jobs in the area.

City Park demonstrates that through careful and creative thinking a derelict landmark listed building can become a vibrant and thriving office development that contributes to the local economy by attracting top quality occupiers such as Dell, Aggreko, Saga 105.2 fm and children's charity NCH.

Commenting Paul Martin, MSP said, In a constituency where unemployment levels are among the highest in the UK, the City Park development has played a significant part in the regeneration of the City of Glasgow.  Unemployment statistics have improved significantly in my constituency largely due to the development at City Park.

Providing 300,000 sq.ft. of flexible, attractive and cost effective office space, City Park in one building, provides a first class working environment, has its own Business Village with 400 seater restaurant, a 24 hr gym, a shop and ATM.  Technical and power solutions are robust and resilient with four fibre providers, up to 6 MVA of power.  Parking for 500 cars is available, 250 of which are in the lower ground floor of the building
